Do you read only one book at a time, or do you have several going at once?
I usually have two going at once. One is generally more challenging, now I am reading Catch-22, and one is light and lovely, currently Kerry Greenwood's cosy mystery Urn Burial.
What a great question.
Have a great weekend!
Thank you for stopping by my blog! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteHaha yes! I have two going on most times as well. Glad I'm not the only one. New follower, btw :D
ReplyDeleteWhereas, if I have a challenging books in my hands, I can't read anything else because it gets me out of my groove. I've always noticed that, for myself, I need to be in a groove to read the challenging stuff. Being grooveless means I just can't get through it.

Not everyone can multi-task and nobody should. When it comes to book sure, I can't read four books simultaneously (or even two, for that matter!) but there are times I'll juggle as many as four books at a time depending on the subject matter, the urgency or more often both.
ReplyDeleteThe real trick to this is what KINDS of books to juggle. Hop on over to my blog and learn the method behind my madness - http://www.howardshermannet

That's a great way to do it. I usually read one at a time unless I have some sort of book emergency.

I used to only read one book at a time but blogging encouraged me to try several at a time. I usually have a fiction and a non-fiction and an audiobook for when I walk. But like you, I try to balance heavy and light too.
ReplyDeleteHopping through. I tend to read multiple. It's smart to read one challenging and one easier book.

Here is my Book Blogger Hop/Follow Friday post!

Hopping through, thanks for visiting my blog earlier, as you read, I like to tackle more than one book at a time :) Always good to read different genres, I never know what'll catch my eye.
ReplyDeleteAnother hopper here! I will have to check out the Potter family series from A.S. Byatt, I have read a couple of her other books and enjoyed them, but this series escaped my notice - I'll have to correct that!
ReplyDeleteJust hopping by to see what's new. I'm already a follower. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
